Harps and Harmonies - A Parisian Soirée

  • The Foundling Museum Bloomsbury, London WC1N 1AZ (map)

An evening in Paris at the home of Henriette Renié, the prodigious harpist, composer and teacher who inspired Debussy and Ravel to write music for the harp.

Our series celebrates the inspirational women who forged new paths to shape the future of classical music. Henriette Renié was one of these - a virtuoso performer, prodigious composer and influential teacher, who helped to establish the harp as a solo instrument.
